As you become an expert in analysis with your Prometheus data, you will start to streamline your analysis process. Building large datasets is important for many workflows, whether you work on biosimilar formulation or buffer optimization. And while PR.Stability Analysis is great for visualizing and sorting through your data, sometimes it will be necessary to export the data.

PR.Stability Analysis software makes export easy! The software offers many export options, and allows you to export raw data, charts and graphs, or summary tables for any datasets you process. Another great feature? Analysis templates. Combined with Region of Interest or Key Parameter analysis, you can set standard analysis templates to export the same batch parameters every time—this can help save a lot of time as you build large datasets that need analysis and export. Welcome to our next lesson from the Application Academy, where we will turn to PR.Stability Analysis software to expedite data processing and make it easy to pick out the data most relevant to you.

Why are batch export and templates helpful features?

Prometheus users are concerned with changes in protein stability, and often monitor how different formulations or buffers affect the thermodynamic properties of their protein of interest. As researchers collect more data, it becomes important to be able to quickly and efficiently compare how the data has changed over time. Setting analysis templates allows you to maximize efficiency—choose the parameters most important for your analysis and set them as a template, so your data gets processed in the same way every time!

Additionally, while PR.Stability Analysis gives you a lot of flexibility with its many evaluation parameters and display options, sometimes it is necessary to export the data in order to share it. Previously, PR.ChemControl and PR.ThermControl users had to export each experiment individually. But now it is possible to export charts, graphs, or data summary for all your data together. Save yourself time with both evaluation and data sharing by working in PR.Stability Analysis today!

What’s new about templates and export in PR.Stability Analysis?

  • Analyze all your data together: Stability Analysis allows you to merge your data, which means now you can export multiple experiments at once. Export will now include merged replicates and their calculated standard deviations.
  • Set batch export presets: Create preset data analysis templates personalized to your data analysis needs. Just need the summary? Want to include charts? Export as .csv rather than .xlsx? Pick and choose what you need to take your data to the next level.
  • Consistency in analysis: Creating preset templates for analysis not only saves time for future analyses, but also ensures that you are evaluating the data consistently. Increase confidence in your conclusions throughout your experiments by using analysis templates in conjunction with other features such as selecting a Region of Interest and Key Parameters.

How do I refine my batch export and export templates in PR.Stability Analysis?

Our applications specialist Lindsay Dawson has another great video explaining how to put these options to use in your workflow.

A brief guide to using batch export settings

  • Begin by processing your data as usual
  • Select “Batch Export” from the tabs on the left-hand side of the screen
  • Name the new preset and click “+ add” or select a previously written preset from the drop-down menu
  • Choose the options best for your needs
  • Click “Start export” at the bottom of the screen
