37 What can r H tell me about the shape of my particle? The r H is the absolute size of your particle if it is a sphere. For rod-shaped or other non-spherical particles, the r H will reflect the radius of the longest side. Beyond absolute size, the r H tells you about the relative size of your particle. It is useful during development to compare the r H value for your biologic in different batches or in different circumstances (e.g., when optimizing formulation; or when present with a binding partner).
