TECHNICAL NOTE 5 ©2020 NanoTemper Technologies, Inc. South San Francisco, CA, USA. All Rights Reserved. Materials and Methods 3000 Series Nanosphere TM Size Standards (3020A, 3060A, 3100A, 3500A, 3600A, 3700A, 3800A and 3900A) and Duke Standards 4010A where purchased from Thermo Fisher Scientific. NISTmAb RM8671 and Lysozyme powder from hen egg white were from Sigma- Aldrich. For all DLS measurements, samples were transferred to high sensitivity capillaries (Cat# PR-C006 or Cat# PR-AC006) and loaded onto the instrument sample tray. Measurements were carried out using the high sensitivity mode in the Size Analysis function of the Panta Control so ware. The viscosity of the samples at 25 °C was calculated using the Buffer Builder that is incorporated in the Panta Control so ware. The refractive index was approximated to be 1.335 for the buffer and 1.45 for the particles and proteins, using a laser wavelength of 405 nm. Autocorrelation functions were fitted using both the size distribution analysis and the cumulant analysis method.
