What DLS tells you about your biologics 4 DLS assesses the biophysical characteristics of your biologics, which will tell you about size, stability, purity and much more. You can learn whether your sample is folded or denatured, oligomerized or aggregated, and how many different species are present in the sample. You can look at the effect of a mutation or of conjugating something to your sample, or whether your biologic binds the drug or target. In this next section we look at how the different DLS parameters tell you about your biologic. We start with size and what that data tells you about your sample quality. A er a larger discussion of sample quality we explore what DLS data reveals about the stability of your sample and what it tells you about self-interaction. There is a lot of information to glean from DLS data. Let's take a look. 34
